I've mentioned that my husband bought me a Silhoutte Cameo machine for Christmas. My son and I have been using it for various projects today.. Here's one I did for myself that I'm excited to share..
I used it to cut fabric! And made this simple wall art:
I used the Cameo to cut the sewing machine shape out of a cotton duck scrap I had. The shape is on sale this week from the Silhoutte store. I removed a lot of the detail from the image as I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.
I purchased some extra blades to have one soley for fabric. The "fabric" blade that is sold is apparently the same as the normal blade just a different colour so you can tell the difference.
Here's what I did..
The fabric needs to be interfaced and Silhouette sells their own kind. I had some double sided Heat and Bond that I had already. I read online that it worked, so figured I'd try.
